What counts as volunteering?

Time Auction counts volunteer work at any registered charity, non-profit organization and social enterprise anywhere in the world, which support causes such as:

• Relieving poverty;
• Helping victims of a disaster;
• Relieving sickness;
• Helping to advance education, scholarships and non-profit making schools;
• Helping the physically and mentally disabled;
• Preventing cruelty to animals;
• Protecting the environment;
• Supporting faith-based institutions of a public character;
• And other charitable acts for the benefit of the world.

Why are my hours not verified yet?

Your volunteer hours may not be verified for the following reasons:

• Pending verification of your hours by NGO staff through our email or platform;
• Invalid documents are submitted such as photos, screenshots of emails and text;
• Your supporting document lacks sufficient proof of volunteer date, time, name identification, and the amount of hours contributed;
• The details such as hours, date and program details you entered on our platform doesn't match with what's shown on the document;
• The verification contact is not an eligible representative (e.g., self-verification or the contact is not an official staff member);
• The organization you helped is not a registered charity or non-profit entity;
• The project period was more than 12 months ago.

We evaluate any requests for volunteering at other charitable causes and their associated hours on an individual basis. Please email us at [email protected] to confirm if what you plan to do will qualify. Time Auction has sole discretion to decide whether the volunteer work qualifies to redeem an experience.

如何定義義工服務?

Time Auction 會接納世界各地任何註冊慈善機構、非牟利組織和社會企業的義工服務時數，包括但不限於以下範疇：

• 幫助推廣教育、獎學金和非牟利學校；
• 幫助身心障礙者；
• 預防虐待動物；
• 保育環境；
• 支持公益性質的宗教團體；
• 以及其他造福世界的慈善行為。

為什麼我的時數還未被核實？

您的義工時數可能因以下原因而未被核實：

• 非牟利組織工作人員並未透過我們的電子郵件或平台核實您的時數；
• 提交了無效的證明文件，如照片、電子郵件截圖和文字截圖；
• 證明文件缺乏相應的義工日期、時間、姓名和義工時數等資料作核對之用；
• 您在我們平台上輸入的詳細資料（如時數、日期和義工服務細節）與文件上顯示的不符；
• 核實聯絡人非合資格的代表（例如，自我核實或該聯絡人不是正式工作人員）；
• 您協助的組織不是已註冊的慈善機構或非牟利組織；
• 義工服務日期已超過12個月。

我們會為其他義工服務的時數申請進行個別評估。請電郵至 [email protected] 確認您的計劃是否符合條件。 Time Auction有權自行決定該義工服務是否符合兌換體驗的條件。
