Child Protection Policy: Commitment to and Declaration of Time Auction

Time Auction is committed to creating a safe environment for children and young people. Those who intend to form a partnership with Time Auction in a capacity that involves or is likely to involve contact with children or young people must agree with the following declaration (“Declaration”) to prove their suitability to work with our organization.

If you do not agree with the Declaration, you may not be involved in our organization. If your Declaration is later discovered to have been false or misleading, your partnership with our organization will immediately be terminated. As such, We solemnly and sincerely declare that:

1. We do not have any criminal convictions or findings of guilt, including but not limited to sexual offenses, offenses related to children, or acts of violence, in Hong Kong or elsewhere.
2. We have never had any disciplinary proceedings brought by any parties involving allegations of child abuse, sexual misconduct, sexual harassment, any other form of harassment, or acts of violence.
3. We are not aware of any other matters which would make me unsuitable to undertake a position that involves working with children.

If you fail to agree to the above Declaration, please speak to our Child Protection Officer to discuss your suitability for the post.

You hereby confirm that you have received a copy of the Time Auction Child Protection Policy (the “Policy”), which you have read and understood. You agree that you will:

1. Report any concerns you may have with regards to children and young people participating in the activities of Time Auction directly to the Child Protection Officer or a Time Auction staff;
2. Abide by the Code of Conduct and good practice and will work with Time Auction to ensure an environment which prevents the abuse and exploitation of children and youths is created and maintained;
3. Consider all related actions and behaviors, though not included in the Policy, which may compromise the rights and safeguarding of children and young people; and
4. Ensure that your employees will adhere to the principles of the Policy both at work and outside work, as actions outside of work that are seen to contradict the Policy will be considered a violation of the Policy.

You understand that a breach of this Declaration will result in the suspension of your involvement with Time Auction pending the outcome of a child protection investigation by Time Auction.

Reporting of Violations

You agree to promptly report to Time Auction any violation of the Agreement by others.

Restrictions

You agree to not use the Site and/or Services in a manner that:

• violates or infringes the rights of Time Auction, other users, or any other party, including patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or publicity rights;
• promotes racism, bigotry, hatred, or harm of any kind against any group or individual;
• is intended to, may, or does harass, annoy, threaten, harm, or intimidate any other users of the Site or Services;
• reproduces, duplicates, copies, sells, resells, or exploits any portion of the Site or Services;
• is defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, obscene, profane, offensive, tortuous, or otherwise objectionable;
• violates any local or international law or regulation;
• promotes illegal or unlawful activities;
• may defraud or deceive others;
• collects, stores, or disseminates personal information about any other user or third party without his/her permission;
• uses scripts, bots, or other automated technology to access the Site and/or Services;
• interferes with or disrupts the Site and/or Services or servers, computers, or networks connected to the Site and/or Services;
• uses the Site and/or Services for chain letter, junk mail, or spam email;
• frames the Site, places pop-up windows over the Site, or affects the display of its pages without Time Auction's prior written consent;
• provides inaccurate or false information to Time Auction, any user, or others;
• advertises or solicits any user to buy or sell any products or services through the Site and/or Services without Time Auction's prior written consent. You agree not to use any information obtained from the Site and/or Services in order to contact, advertise to, solicit, make offers to, or sell to any user without their prior explicit consent.
