The Challenge

Being a small-scale NGO, CantoGather’s core team mainly focuses on operations, strategic planning and educational program development. They identified various skill gaps across the organisation and are in need of manpower and resources to sustain and grow.

Our Solution

CantoGather recruited 19 volunteers who strongly supported their team from marketing, finance and website upgrades, to developing and designing educational materials. With their hard work, around 100 ethnic minority students benefitted from their educational program, and their team was able to offer:

  • 108 storytelling illustrations,
  • 60 flashcards, and
  • A professional curriculum was curated, referencing a volunteer’s knowledge and learnings from her professor and Master’s degree in Teaching Chinese as a second language

“Without Time Auction’s help, I don’t think we’d be able to create such engaging and beautiul illustrations for teaching aids, flashcards and worksheets, offering storytelling elements to better the learning of ethnic minority students.”
