What we need

• Develop and coordinate events and activities (online & offline) for the youth program (approx. 4-6 events in an academic year) e.g. outing, bowling competition,… etc.
• Maintain awareness of such activities amongst the graduates
• Coordinate with volunteers for program delivery

Background

Youth engagement is linked to the positive outcomes of society. The benefits that the youth program provides are real and long-lasting.

What we have

A holistic reading enrichment program that nurtures senior primary students transitioning to junior secondary school students. The Event Supervisor will create events/activities to deepen the relationship between volunteers and students.

Why this is important

The Books & Beyond youth program builds rapport between the volunteers and our students which enhances and develops their social-emotional skills. It also creates a sense of belonging for young people during the path of growing up.
