Help us reach out to more individuals in need in society
We are launching our Caring Call programme and need compassionate and skilled speakers to help us reach out to the community.
We are working in partnership with local district councillors who are providing us with contact information for at risk individuals. This information will be provided on the night. We will provide a short script with a series of important questions we need to ask. It is important, however, that individuals are aware coming into this volunteer position that being confident in engaging with the elderly is an essential skill.
In reaching out to more people Green Hour is able to create a stronger relationship with the community, allowing us to support more service users.

Established in 2018, Green Hour aims to promote a sustainable lifestyle through education, events and campaigning. Having already organised multiple beach cleanups, 'plogs' as well as Hong Kong's first 'Plastic Attack', Green Hour has begun establishing itself in the area. More recently, Green hour has started its Bun Run initiative, rescuing surplus food items from being sent to landfill and distributing them, as well as other essentials, to those in need in the community. To date, Green Hour supports roughly 100 individuals on a weekly basis, with plans to expand over the coming months.
