Project Details

What we need
  • Planning and implementing HELP’s programmes, outreach activities and events
  • Minimum age requirement for interns is 18 years old
  • Volunteer management and HELP beneficiaries and community leaders engagement
  • Monitoring projects and drafting periodic reports
  • Developing long and short term project ideas
  • Interns can work flexibly from Monday to Friday (10am to 6pm) for a minimum of 24 hours per week plus occasional Sundays, weekly working hours and end date negotiable

HELP for Domestic Workers is committed to empowering migrant domestic workers in Hong Kong to access their rights through advice, education, community and employer engagement. Since HELP is operated by a small team, we rely a lot on volunteers and interns to help us achieve our mission.

What we do

HELP for Domestic Workers is an NGO working on the frontlines to support migrant domestic workers to gain access to justice and fair and equal treatment in Hong Kong. Since 1989, we have supported migrant domestic workers through advice, assistance, education and empowerment. We equip the employers of domestic workers with knowledge and awareness so that they can build a mutually beneficial relationship with their domestic workers.
