Meet Michelle Ho!

Michelle works as an office leasing professional in day time and you find her doing training for half marathon in the evenings. She had participated in more than 10 Time Auction meetings and actively engaged in different volunteer services mainly related to sports and food.

As an enthusiastic food and sports lover, she cares so much about food nutrition and she involves in many food-related volunteering activities. Working with Food Angel is a great opportunity to help her build a healthy living lifestyle with a low budget. Other than that, Michelle also acknowledged the fact that the value of the leftover food can be maximized and wastage can be minimized through creativity.

Michelle would like to start her own wellness/fitness business in coming 5 to 10 years, so that’s why she is particularly interested in the journey of successful entrepreneurs. From the sharing of Time Auction mentors, being resilient in face of adversity and setbacks is a common trait found in the mentors which helps them sell products, build brands and most importantly — inspire team. She was grateful to get the first-hand insights from the mentors.

The inspiration from her meeting with mentors motivated her to make changes in life. The stories from these mentors allowed her to learn through process and mistakes. At the end of every meeting, she would mark down the pieces of advice and try to adopt them in daily life. Despite the enforcement was difficult due to practical constraints, the advice serves as a timely reminder of the values she should uphold in face of difficult choices amid uncertainties. The inspirations were priceless and the impact was immense.

Thank you so much to Michelle for contributing 119 volunteer hours and participating in more than 10 of our events!
