How Junior Achievement Hong Kong Empowers Youth Through Mentorship | Skilled Volunteering Case Study

The Challenge

Junior Achievement (JA) Hong Kong is dedicated to inspiring and preparing young people for success in the global economy. They organise workshops at schools throughout the year, focusing on topics such as entrepreneurship, career readiness, and financial health. The NGO's accomplishments depend significantly on strong partnerships and valuable support from community members who contribute their expertise and mentor the beneficiaries. They are regularly recruiting volunteers to host and facilitate mentorship workshops, especially students and business professionals with real-life experience.

Our Solution

Over 100 volunteers were recruited throughout 2023 to serve as volunteer mentors in various workshops. These mentors have shared their hands-on experiences and advice with primary and secondary students in the fields of finance, product design, resume writing, interview skills and more. Since piloting our skilled volunteers matching platform in 2020, we have connected them with 640+ volunteers.
