Project Details

What we need
  • Dates of the workshops: 15 and 22 November 2021, and 6 December 2021; Time: 11:45 am to 1:25 pm
  • Lead and facilitate capacity building workshops offered to low-resource secondary schools in a fun, engaging, and interactive way based on the lesson plan and guidelines provided
  • Inspire students to think in imaginative ways, encourage and motivate students to participate in activities
  • Manage class discipline as needed
  • Manage volunteers for on-site support and facilitation, conduct short briefing with volunteers prior to and after each workshop
  • Work closely with Kids4Kids staff to enhance workshop quality

Powered by Service enables youth to explore their strengths and bring out their best. Interactive activities develop confidence and emotional intelligence, preparing them for solving community issues together in Hong Kong. Requirements: *Reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic *Experience in working with young people preferred *Able to speak English and Cantonese fluently, Mandarin a plus *Openness to work with youths from different nationalities and backgrounds *Good interpersonal and public speaking skills *Good classroom management skills *Flexibility to work on weekdays and commit to delivering full 3 workshops (3 x 2 hours) per school *Able to provide Vaccination record (if vaccinated) or Covid Test records each time in advance of each workshop (if not vaccinated) *Able to provide the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) record

What we have

(1) A volunteer training will be provided to the Facilitator in advance of the workshops (2) Arrive 30 minutes before start of workshop to liaise with site coordinator and perform setup (3) Wear provided Kids4Kids T-shirt when conducting the workshops
