What we need
  • Regular management of social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram)
  • Prepare ideally 3-5 social media posts per week & help with responding to comments/ inbox messages
  • Adhering to appropriate communication protocols, branding, and maintaining a professional tone
  • Drafting engaging and respectful captions in both Traditional Chinese & English that convey our mission and messages
  • Maximizing views and interactions through strategic content planning
  • Growing our following and fostering a sense of community
  • Prefer volunteer who can commit a minimum of 6 months

Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the community and a wiz with social media? We are a local charity working tirelessly to offer refugees in Hong Kong legal and mental health support. We are seeking a dedicated individual to help us as a Volunteer Social Media Manager. This remote position involves managing our Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram accounts, where you'll have the opportunity to shape our online presence and engage with our audience.

We provide legal support to refugees, asylum seekers, and other forced migrants seeking protection under Hong Kong’s legal system from torture, persecution and other risks they face in their countries of origin. We provide dedicated support to women, children, LGBTI+, religious minorities and others through our holistic services.
