Assist in leading a War Game activity for children with AD/HD
Project Details
What we need
- Assist participants with registration and maintaining order
- Help instructors guide participants through activities as per instructions
- Lead group discussions and participate in shooting activities with the participants
- Prefer volunteers having some experience in War Game activities and serving SEN or ADHD kids
- The activity will be on 30 Jul 2:30pm - 7:00pm, kindly arrive on 2:00pm for preparation
- There will be 50 kids aged 10-16 on the day
Background
We're organizing a War Game Training Camp for kids aged 10+ with ADHD. The camp helps improve teamwork, communication, and leadership through safe war game activities. It's a fun way for kids to develop new interests and make friends.
What we have
Volunteers will get a detailed briefing on the day, safety equipment, and clear instructions. Experienced instructors will guide you, and you'll have emergency contacts and a schedule of activities.
Why this is important
It supports our mission by helping kids with ADHD develop important life skills. Success here will allow us to offer more similar programs, helping more kids in the future.

What we do
The Hong Kong Association for AD/HD was established in 2006 by 8 local parents who have ADHD children. It is a locally registered non-profit making charitable organization since 2013 and a member of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS)since 2017. With over 1,750 members by family units, it is the organization in Hong Kong serving the largest ADHD community now. The aim of the association is to promote mutual assistance. By sharing experiences and insights with each other, parents can support and encourage one another. We also provide support to children with ADHD and their families, helping them to face the difficulties and challenges brought by ADHD, overcome obstacles, and promote community education to let more people understand and accept ADHD.
