What we need
- Join us for a one-hour briefing call to learn more about our organization and the event objectives
- Work with us to create a marketing campaign for our fundraising event, advising us on social media and/or traditional media outreach
- Ideally someone with previous experience in creating marketing campaign
- English is required and Chinese is preferred but not compulsory
Background
We will be hosting an evening drinks fundraiser in the week of 27 Nov and auctioning artworks created by a locally renowned artist to fundraise for our mission of providing legal access for some of Hong Kong's most underprivileged communities.
What we have
You will be working closely with a small and dedicated team in a friendly, inclusive and vibrant office environment. You are also able to work remotely when needed.

To raise awareness and funds for our organization, Equal Justice, to alleviate hardship and poverty by ensuring legal access for some of Hong Kong's most underprivileged communities.

What we do
Launched in mid-2020, Equal Justice 平義社 is an award-winning, community-impact charity that provides free legal education, information and support to people who are disadvantaged or excluded and who cannot afford, or otherwise access, the law and lawyers. We run a free community legal centre in Yau Ma Tei in Kowloon. We think we may be the only such centre in Hong Kong. The others, housed in District Offices historically, are on hold as far as we can tell. Equal Justice was founded in response to the community legal access gaps the team sees first-hand. We are here to bridge Hong Kong’s legal access poverty gaps. People can experience access to justice barriers due to: legal capability, literacy and network, financial limitations, language difficulties, health challenges, including stress. So far, we have helped over 1,500 people to anticipate, prevent and solve their legal problems. We partner with our network of over 30 NGOs and 120+ lawyers at 50+ law firms and barristers’ chambers.
