What we need
  • Join a 1-hour briefing session with other volunteers
  • Select a cause (e.g. animal welfare or human rights) and identify 20 or more donors that support this cause area
  • Compile the required information on a shared Google spreadsheet
  • Flexible schedule where you'll work independently on the cause you've chosen
Background

Finding relevant potential donors is one of major challenges of running a nonprofit. We're conducting a landscape study of the major donors in each cause area, so we can support our NGO partners and help them find their potential donors more efficiently.

What we have

Community Development 4. Disability 5. Disaster Relief 6. Education Elderly 7. Environment 8. Faith-based 9. Food Waste 10. Gender Equality 11. Health 12. Human Rights 13. Mental Health 14. Poverty 15. Sport 16. Youth

Why this is important

Our platform aims to support NGOs at scale, and this research will help many more NGOs save time and effort to find prospective donors in the years to come!

What we do

Time Auction is a charity that advocates volunteerism. We encourage volunteering with inspiring experiences, while connecting skilled-volunteers with NGOs. By volunteering at any nonprofits, one can earn unique access to their passions — from learning to cook from Michelin-starred chefs to dining with inspiring entrepreneurs. With our volunteer community, we also match professionals who want to volunteer their talent with nonprofits that need those skills. Over 100,000 volunteer hours have been contributed to date since 2014.
