• Guidance on the best practises for NGO charities moving forward
• Guidance on optimal Hong Kong charity structure / governance

Background

The Sunnyside Club was established back in 1987 by a group of Cathay Pacific employees. We have our articles of association which haven't been amended since the Club's inception. An overhaul of the Club's procedures and administrative operation is long overdue.

What we have

The Sunnyside Club has an enthusiastic committee of 12, all whom work for Cathay Pacific. These staff members can liaise and guide volunteers as required. We have both English and Cantonese speaking committee members. Furthermore we have facilities for meetings at Cathay Pacific City which can be utilised by volunteers (pending meeting entrance requirements).

Why this is important

We'd love to transform the Club into a modern day charity. Having new protocols, policies and practices we believe will only enhance and further support our benefactors being the disabled and underprivileged children of Hong Kong. "We put smiles on faces" is the Club's goal - bringing the Sunnyside Club up to standard with current NGO best practices will certainly aid in achieving this.
