Teach our shelter residents to use iPad
Project Details
What we need
- Join us for 15 minutes to learn about our organisation
- Join us at 7pm at our Wanchai Shelter on the last Saturday of every month (one-time volunteer also welcomed!)
- Teach our shelter residents to use Apps in i-pad, such as News, Facebook and Zoom in form of one-to-one casual conversations
- No need to prepare any teaching materials, just be present and be open to share your experience
- Looking for Cantonese speaking volunteers
Background
Our residents may borrow iPads at our shelter. The project is to encourage them to use iPads and teach them basic skills to use iPad, including Apps on news, Facebook and Zoom.
What we have
We will proivde iPads for you.
Why this is important
To build up the confidence of the homeless in the use of iPads, so that they may keep abreast of the latest development of the society and in touch with others through social media. As a result, they may equip themselves better when leaving the shelter.
