What we need

• Join us for a 30 minutes zoom chat to learn more about our organization and objectives of our event
• Help set up & dismantle the events, crowd control, assist in games and activities
• Explaining game rules to participants, leading them through the game
• Be our ambassador to answer questions about our organization/ the event
• Assist in handling therapy dogs and in providing help to SEN children during events
• Training will be provided; Rundown and specific roles and responsibilities will be distributed to volunteer
• Please arrive 30 mins ahead of event start time for a quick briefing on the day
• You can choose to join any sessions you're available!

Background

We will be hosting a number of different therapy dog events with our beneficiaries, to raise awareness and promote inclusivity. Our events will include interactive games and baking activities with our therapy dogs and beneficiaries. We will also be doing therapy dog visit at nursing homes to bring joy and love for our elderly.

What we have

A briefing will be provided to align the expectations, objectives and goals of the event. We will provide more information on how to handle our SEN beneficiaries. All volunteers will be assigned specific roles and responsibilities over a zoom chat. Our team will be supporting you and working with you along the way.

Why this is important

This event aims to raise awareness on animal assisted intervention, promote inclusivity and community connection for SEN beneficiaries and our elderly beneficiaries.
