Set up event and provide visitor assistance at our Therapy Dog Halloween Charity Run events
Project Details
What we need
- The event dates are 26 Oct (Sat) 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM and 31 Oct (Thur) 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
- Help set up before & dismantle after the events, crowd control, and assist in games and activities
- Please arrive 30 mins before the event starts for a quick briefing on the day
- You can choose to join any sessions you're available!
- Explaining game rules to participants, leading them through the game
- Assist in handling therapy dogs and in providing help to SEN children during events
- Be our ambassador to answer questions about our organization/ the event
Background
We will be hosting two therapy dog Halloween events, to raise awareness of therapy dog and promote inclusivity. Our events will include interactive booth and charity run with our therapy dogs.
What we have
A briefing will be provided to align the expectations, objectives and goals of the event. We will provide more information about Rise Wise and the event. All volunteers will be assigned specific roles and responsibilities. Our team will be supporting you and working with you along the way.
Why this is important
This event aims to raise awareness of animal-assisted intervention and promote inclusivity, mental health, and community connection.
