What we need

• The Easter event will be held on Apr 6, 11:00am - 6:30pm
• Set up, manage, and dismantle event booths
• Explain easter egg hunt game rules to children/dog owners, help out at our photo booth
• Help identify suitable dogs for our therapy dog assessment and invite owners to sign up
• Engage with attendees, encourage donations, and assist with product sales
• Share our mission and raise awareness about therapy dogs and SEN

Background

We will be hosting a pet-friendly Easter egg hunt to celebrate Easter and raise awareness about SEN and therapy dogs! Event attendees and their dogs will be invited to join our Easter egg hunt, with plenty of photo opportunities at our booth and a charity sales booth to support our cause. We'll also be offering information about our therapy dog program and recruiting dogs for our therapy dog assessment.

What we have

Volunteers will receive a brief introduction to our charity, including how to engage with passersby, share information about our mission, promote donations, and raise awareness of our therapy dog program.

Why this is important

This event will raise awareness about SEN and promote our organization, helping us reach more people. Additionally, it will support our fundraising efforts, enabling us to provide more assistance to children with special education needs through our therapy dogs.
