  • Explaining game rules for children, leading children through the game
  • Explaining our organization's mission as well as raising awareness for Autism for the public
  • Set up, manage and dismantle event booths
  • Event is on 7-10 Apr at The Pulse (Repulse Bay), we welcome volunteers who can join 1 day as well!
Background

We will be hosting a pet friendly Easter egg hunt game to celebrate Easter and to raise awareness on Autism and our organization, as well as our therapy dog. Children will get to meet our therapy dog. We will have a sensory friendly time slot for children with special education needs to join. The event is also opened to public and all children and dogs are welcome to join our egg hunt. Children will go through obstacles with their dogs to collect as many Easter eggs as possible. We will also have photo booths and charity sales booth along with info banner to educate the public more on Autism and our therapy dog program.

What we have

Brief training will be given to volunteers on Autism and handling children with Autism, as well as brief introduction to our organization and therapy dog program. Volunteers will also get to meet our therapy dog and learn how to handle our therapy dog.

Why this is important

The event will help us raise awareness on Autism and spread the words on our organization. It will also helps us raise funds to support more children with special education needs.
