What we need
  • Must be age between 16 and 24, or within five years of graduating from a secondary school in Hong Kong
  • Passionate about fostering inclusive school environments in Hong Kong's local secondary schools
  • Local Secondary School Landscape and Education System: Provide insights based on their own experiences and observations within the secondary school environment, specifically through a DEI and anti-bullying lens
  • Educational Program Test Runs: Attend and provide constructive feedback on the design of educational activities, focusing on content, delivery methods, and other relevant aspects
  • Content Development and Youth Engagement: Offer guidance on content creation and effective outreach strategies to engage with youth participants
Background

Resolve is recruiting 20 youth advisors to provide strategic guidance, program design advice, andrecommendations for its forthcoming pilot program, Stand By Me: A pilot program to drive more inclusivecampuses in secondary schools. Embracing community-driven initiatives, Resolve values the inclusion of youthperspectives ensuring that the program resonates authentically with its target audience. We are looking forYouth Advisors for Year 1 (September 2024 - August 2025) and Year 2 (September 2025 - August 2026). Why this is important

Our signature annual Fellowship program, which intentionally follows an intersectional approach, has nowprovided structured capacity building and one-to-one mentorship to more than 90 emerging leaders, from allwalks of life in Hong Kong. Our innovative Opportunity Fund program has awarded 25 seed grants to our alumnifor initiatives that have gone on to reach over 8,000 primary and secondary beneficiaries in disadvantaged localcommunities. Later this year we will expand our work into local secondary schools, with a pilot leadershipprogram called #StandByMe that covers active bystander intervention for youth. We also deliver publiceducation and corporate engagement campaigns on furthering inclusive practices, to reach the widest possibleaudience. To learn more, please visit www.resolvehk.org.
