Project Details

What we need
  • Work closely with Resolve Team and other working group members in planning and organizing the Fundraising Gala lunch to celebrate, reward and engage our Resolve Communities and at the same time fundraise to support our programs and activities.
  • Brainstorm event ideas, provide comments and suggestions for the team on setting the event goal, choosing the fundraising method, getting a sponsorship, selecting the venue, and marketing the event, etc.
  • Share information, review materials, and participate in the discussion with Resolve Team and/or board members as well as the working group in attempt to reach consensus whenever possible.
  • Individuals who are proactive, committed, and comfortable working on team projects with backgrounds and experiences in Fundraising, event management, Marketing and Communications; and project management are preferred.
Background

In celebration of our 5th anniversary, Resolve Foundation will host a series of events themed with "It Starts with Resolve" from October 2022 to April 2023, to share with our stakeholders, partners and supporters the milestones and what we have achieved together in the last 5 years, while looking forward to future accomplishments. The celebration will be kick started with #WeResolve Team Challenge and ended with a Fundraising Gala Lunch tentatively holding in April 2023. The raised amount of unrestricted funding will support us in future fellowship programs and other campaigns.

What we have

We will provide briefing and support throughout the project period.

Why this is important

Resolve will invite 5 volunteers from diverse backgrounds to form a working group to help planning and organizing the Fundraising Gala lunch tentatively holding in May 2023. The working group enables us to pool our ideas and see problems from different perspectives. The group will be focusing on discussions or activities solely related to this event particularly.

What we do

Founded in 2017, Resolve is a s88 charity with a mission to amplify the impact of emerging community leaders to drive a more inclusive Hong Kong. Our name comes from our values: Rights, Equality, Solidarity, Organization, Leadership, Voice and Empowerment. Our programs include our signature annual Fellowship, a structured capacity building program that brings together social innovators from diverse walks of life, and an Opportunity Fund, offering supported seed grant funding to deliver community projects. We also deliver public education and corporate engagement campaigns on furthering inclusive practices, to reach the widest possible audience.
