Take event videos and prepare reels to document our Open House event (experience required)
Aging is an inevitable part of life for all of us. Everyone experiences aging, but we don’t all have equal experiences of aging. With increasing age and lack of access to proper resources, older people are held back in numerous ways: poor mobility, lack of steady income, health issues, lack of affordable housing or living facilities, and more. With a longer life expectancy, we have been given the gift of extra years; but are we able to enjoy life with purpose, respect or dignity as we age? Building from our first meta-theme Lifting Barriers and Removing Stigmas in 2018-2020, we embarked on our exploration of the foundations needed for building a better life, through our second meta-theme, Dignity and Social Mobility for All (尊嚴與社會流動). In 2024, we will wrap up this meta-theme by shifting our focus to identifying how Hong Kong can better prepare for an increasingly aging population and ensure that all of us can choose to add life to our years, not just years to our lives. We invite passionate community leaders and everyday heroes of ALL ages and walks of life, who are working to uphold dignity in aging, to apply our 2024 Fellowship Program.
The Open House event will be produced in a physical setting with all speakersand guests joining in-person. There will be a pre-event briefing on site to ensure the volunteer(s) understand the tasks. Guidance on making impactful videos / reels will be given.
This volunteer will help us capturing event highlights and the moments of the interactions between speakers during the event. Lively and high-quality video reels of our open house event will be essential for the promotion of our 2024 Fellowship Program.

We believe the answer rests with communities themselves, harnessing their own power to bring about positive social change.
