Background

No action is too small when it comes to changing the world. Every Action Matters is a project developed by Resolve with the aim of empowering everyone in our community to take inclusive action in their everyday lives. In view of that, Resolve will produce an Equality Toolkit to offer guidance on how to be a better ally and active bystander on issues relating to race, gender-based violence and disability, which are our Social Justice Fellowship Program themes in the past three years. The toolkit will also provide a more in-depth appreciation of key topics such as, discrimination, intersectionality, privilege and much more. The Equality Toolkit will be launched through a series of experiential workshops, allowing the public to further engage in the topics highlighted in the toolkit, to understand in more depth how to apply what they have learned into everyday situations and to become more active allies to marginalized communities.

What we have

We have the tools and experience designing and facilitating interactive virtual events that build an intimate and supportive community. We also have a strong alumni community that is committed to promoting social justice and inclusion in Hong Kong.

Why this is important

This facilitator will help us curate two brainstorming sessions in May and June to gather ideas from people in the Resolve community to co-create our public events to be scheduled in September. They will also help strengthen the sense of community among our stakeholders and build solidarity to promote social justice and inclusion in Hong Kong.

What we do

Founded in 2017, Resolve is a s88 charity with a mission to amplify the impact of emerging community leaders to drive a more inclusive Hong Kong. Our name comes from our values: Rights, Equality, Solidarity, Organization, Leadership, Voice and Empowerment. Our programs include our signature annual Fellowship, a structured capacity building program that brings together social innovators from diverse walks of life, and an Opportunity Fund, offering supported seed grant funding to deliver community projects. We also deliver public education and corporate engagement campaigns on furthering inclusive practices, to reach the widest possible audience.
