Background

Are you passionate about art, the environment, and community engagement? Here's your chance to be a part of an exciting project that brings together these elements in a truly inspiring way. We will be doing a MTR Stations' Community Gallery Exhibition, and we are looking for enthusiastic volunteers like you to join us on this incredible journey! Starting from June 2024, we will be showcasing the exceptional winning entries of the renowned Voices for the Planet competition in a series of monthly exhibitions at various MTR community galleries. These breathtaking paintings, created by talented individuals who share a deep commitment to environmental conservation, will captivate the hearts and minds of all who see them. As a outreach volunteer, you will play a vital role in reaching out to different schools and art studios. Your responsibilities is to send out emails to them and follow up with them.

What we have

Volunteering briefing and outreach template will be provided.

Why this is important

The Voices for the Planet challenge is our annual event that encourages individuals to use their voices to raise awareness about environmental issues. By helping us with this event, you will help bring children and youngsters from all ages to understand biodiversity, fostering a sense of global community and collective action towards environmental conservation.

What we do

LumiVoce.org is a Hong Kong public charity. It was founded in Hong Kong in 2016 by Dr. Ying Ying Liu. It aims to shed light (Lumi) on the plight of the world’s wildlife, whose survival is under threat due to human activities, and to give a voice (Voce) to these endangered species. The charity uses music and the arts to educate and inspire people, especially the next generation, to become mindful of their impact on the planet and to actively create a sustainable world for future generations and all living things.
