Supporting low-resource secondary school students to participate in hands-on activities and facilitating small group discussion on 1 Nov
We are looking for energetic volunteers to help out in Powered by Service workshops (PBS)! You will help to supporting low-resource secondary school students to participate in hands-on activities and facilitating small group discussion. Powered by Service enables youth to explore their strengths and bring out their best. Interactive activities develop confidence and emotional intelligence, preparing them for solving community issues together in Hong Kong. Details of the workshop: Mon, 1 Nov, 2021 (10:05 am- 11:25 am)Please note this is the second workshop delivered at the school. Dates and time of the first and third workshops: Mon, 25 Oct, 2021 (10:05 am- 11:25 am) and Mon, 8 Nov, 2021 (10:05 am- 11:25 am). It would be best if volunteers could join at least two workshops.
Volunteers must attend separate briefing session via Zoom on 21 Oct (5:30 pm to 6:30 pm). Volunteers must arrive 30 minutes before the workshop (i.e. at 9:35 am), and fill in the Health Consent Form provided by Kids4Kids within 48 hours before the workshop date.
Bringing opportunities for low-resource students to develop self-awareness about their strengths and weaknesses, enhance emotional literacy and communication skills, and tackle social issues with resilience and problem-solving skills.
