Project Details

What we need
  • Volunteers must attend an online briefing session a few days before the first workshop
  • Volunteers should inform the organization if they are unable to attend the workshops
  • Volunteers are required to arrive at the venue 30 min prior to the specified time
  • While it is preferred that volunteers attend all scheduled dates, those who cannot will be provided with a form to indicate which dates they can attend
  • Assist students in participating in activities suggested by the Workshop Facilitator
  • Facilitate group discussions within small groups
  • Ensure that everyone feels comfortable participating and expressing their ideas
Background

Kids4Kids envisions a future where all young people are empowered to be changemakers with the belief that they are never too young to change the world. We are looking for energetic volunteers to help out in our Powered To Transform (PTT) Student Training Workshops ! You will help to support low-resource secondary school students to participate in hands-on activities and facilitate small group discussions. Powered To Transform enables youth to Build confidence, resilience, and self-awareness. Interactive activities develop confidence and emotional intelligence, as well as creative problem-solving.

What we have

A volunteer briefing session will be provided a few days before the workshop date to be confirmed and prior to each session.

Why this is important

Bringing opportunities for low-resource students to develop self-awareness about their strengths and weaknesses, enhance emotional literacy and communication skills, and tackle social issues with resilience and problem-solving skills.
