Background

KELY Support Group (KELY) is a Hong Kong-based non-profit organisation with the mission to equip young people with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities needed to support themselves and each other. KELY offers programmes and services to Chinese- and English-speaking local and ethnic minority youth aged 14 to 24. Our three core focus area are Drug and Alcohol Awareness, Mental Health & Wellbeing, and Positive Youth Development. We envision a world where young people are empowered to reach their full potential. Our current website has been in use since 2018. A lot of the displays/functions is already outdated and the current CMS (Craft CMS) is not very user-friendly, which is why we want to move our website to SquareSpace and do a revamp. We want the website to be up to date with the most relevant information and resources for local youth, as well as for parents, teachers and other members of the general public who wishes to support youth around them.

What we have

We will provide the revamp site map and a list of pages/articles that will need your help to create and set up. We will provide the pages/article text copy, including indications of where and what images to insert on each page. If there are any special arrangements we will also indicate in the document.

Why this is important

The internet is the first place where people look for more information when they want to learn more about KELY, and our website would be the first thing that appears in front of them. A well designed and presented website will make it easier for the audience to navigate and find the resources that they need, which will be helpful resources for them to reach out to and support the youth of Hong Kong. The more people who can make use of our info and resources, the more supportive our community will be.We also hope that upon reading out website and learning what we do, visitors will be willing to make a donation / volunteer / subscribe to our newsletter to support what we do, so that we can expand our reach and help more youth.
