Project Details

What we need
  • Sign up for the event (for free!) on KELY's website with a special code shared when you apply through Time Auction
  • Fundraise a minimum of HKD500 per person
  • Participate in the walk (6 routes to choose from) anytime between 20 Jan - 25 Feb 2024
  • Post on social media tagging KELY information & awareness pledges around suicide prevention or youth mental health with our templates
  • Hours will only be verified upon completion of all tasks
Background

Weez Walk's philosophy is to build an inclusive and resilient community. Since its inception in 2021, we have been firmly committed to fundraising for critical suicide prevention programmes, and creating broader awareness and conversations around youth mental wellbeing.Weez Walk itself is a unique opportunity for you to switch off daily routines and embrace a nature-filled, around 60-kilometre coastal trail challenge. We welcome participants of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities to join our efforts. Even if you are not a sports enthusiast or hiking lover, you can still support this charity event by making a donation. Every step, every dollar, and every conversation counts!

What we have

Every participant will receive an eco-friendly Weez Walk T-shirt designed by Tsunami Sport and a racer gift pack including a Weez Walk 2024 map with coupons, and more amazing gifts offered by our generous sponsors!

KELY Support Group (KELY) is a Hong Kong-based nonprofit organisation whose mission since 1991 is to equip young people with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities needed to support themselves and each other. We envision a world where young people are empowered to reach their full potential.
