Background

4月初，啟勵扶青會在香港國際七人欖球賽及 Creamfields 電子音樂節進行 SOSKELY 緩害外展活動，我們的外展服務團隊積極為本港14至24歲青年提供實用的緩害策略，從而喚起他們對過量飲酒的危機意識。行動包括：向場內青年派發清水、提供免費有趣的「零酒精」活動；還有為有需要的青年提供情緒支援，以及一個安全舒適的「零酒精」休息環境。「零酒精」休息區設有豆袋梳化，予有需要的青年休息。由於物件數量及重量超出我們人手所能負荷，現在需招募義工協助將豆袋梳化從辦公室搬運至倉庫，留待下次活動使用。In early April, KELY Support Group outreached at Hong Kong Sevens and Creamfields for harm reduction. Our outreach team actively raises awareness about the immediate risks of binge drinking and offers practical harm reduction strategies to 14 to 24 year olds. This includes our hydration campaign (giving out water to young people under the influence), offering free, fun and alcohol-free activities for young people, as well as a comfortable, safe and alcohol-free environment on site for youth to rest, recover and get emotional support if needed.The Alcohol-free zone provided bean bag couches for youth to rest. Due to the quantity and weight of the items exceeding our manpower capacity, we are currently recruiting volunteers to assist in moving the bean bag couches from the office to the warehouse, where they will be stored for future events.

Why this is important

此項義工服務將協助我們妥善存放緩害外展活動物資，以便下次活動使用，繼續為青年提供安全舒適的「零酒精」休息環境。This volunteer service will help us properly store the materials used for harm reduction outreach activities, ensuring they are ready for future events and allowing us to continue providing a safe and comfortable Alcohol-Free rest environment for youth.
