What we need
  • Join our upcoming training sessions: (1) 21 Mar - Tue, 7:15pm -9:15pm OR (2) 25 Mar- Sat, 3:00pm - 5:00pm
  • Promote hydration and harm reduction
  • Provide immediate support for people in need
  • Engage with participants through alcohol-free activities
Background

SOSKELY is KELY's staple outreach service, which aims to reduce harm and promote care among participants in major events in Hong Kong. With the aim of encouraging hydration during these events, our service interacts with different event-goers through alcohol-free activities, providing them with safe party tips, and providing a safe space for rest and immediate support. We are currently recruiting volunteers who can meet the following criteria to help us out at Creamfields 2023: (1) 25 years old or above (2) Able to speak and interact in English, Cantonese and Mandarin are a bonus (3) Confident in engaging with people of different nationalities (4) Required level of fitness is high (5) Able to work well under pressure AND (6) Keeping a non-judgmental and open attitude

What we have

All volunteers are required to attend a compulsory training and briefing session. Interested parties will only need to attend 1 session. It will be held FACE TO FACE in San Po Kong and conducted in English. Once you apply for this volunteer opportunity, we will email you a Google Form for registration. Please indicate which training session you will be joining in the form.

KELY Support Group aims to empower young people in Hong Kong to reach their full potential. We strive to connect with young people and take good care of them at major events with our SOSKELY harm reduction outreach service.
