Project Details

What we need
  • Join a 90 minutes briefing session
  • Create a step-by-step action plan with consideration of our messaging, story-writing and technical aspects
  • Manage, run, oversee a fundraising campaign for 2-3 months
  • Work closely with our team and keep us updated on the learnings along the way, allowing us to replicate and continuously fundraise by ourselves in the long run
Background

IBEL is IRD Sec 88 registered charity that provides daily frontline, holistic, inclusive, equity and equal learning opportunities based experiences to 250+ of Hong Kong's underserved and educationally marginalised ethnic minority and non Chinese speaking children. IBEL has been doing so since January 2015 and via it's 2 EDB registered learning centres

What we have

(1) IBEL's 7 years+ of daily frontline experiences and expertise (2) IBEL's social media platform (3) Regular dialogues and conversations with volunteers to help them better appreciate the appropriate perspective

Why this is important

Given the ongoing pandemic driven pandemonium, this is now 3rd year running wherein the fundraising avenues are being stretched and have dried up. The 5th wave has put added pressure on our operational sustainability and available funding. Such a fundraiser will not elevate the awareness regarding the impending challenges to HK's future young generations but also help us get a much needed injection of funding

What we do

Since the start of operations in January 2015 to date, Integrated Brilliant Education Ltd continues to be the only NGO in Hong Kong that provides daily, structured, front line academic relief (with special emphasis on Chinese language learning) to Hong Kong's underserved and educationally marginalised non Chinese speaking/ethnic minority children. IBEL is an organization with dual governance by two of Hong Kong's regulatory authorities - as an IRD registered Sec 88 charity , with 2 Education Bureau registered learning centers. Our unique holistic educational environment provides an inclusive, equity and equal learning opportunities platform for 250+ children, who visit our learning centers on a daily basis and for a minimum of 5 days/week. Our daily effort is to support Hong Kong society's fastest growing demographic, to be culturally integrated and immersed, as also to be upskilled and thus be empowered to not only contribute to Hong Kong's future but also break the intergenerational cycle of poverty
