What we need

• You will be translating programme introduction, client stories and/ or comms materials prepared by our team
• Translation involves English to Traditional Chinese & Traditional Chinese to English
• We will share with you past references, tone and language of our materials

Background

The Community Connections team (CC team) is responsible for the PR and marketing of our organisation ImpactHK and as a charity in Hong Kong, we believe that it is best to have our external communication in bilingual formats in order to be more inclusive and reach out to a broader audience group - translation would play an important role in making this happen. You as the translation volunteer will provide support in translating the articles (including programme introduction / client stories / comms materials).

What we have

Most of the materials are written by our team members - advice and monitoring of the work will be provided and we can go through some old works together to know about the tone and language.

Why this is important

This can help us extend our audience to achieve the community education goal and also attract more potential supporters!
