What we need

Create up to 10 posts per month for our social media (Facebook and Instagram)
Help with the content of our quarterly newsletter (MailChimp) such as editing images to size, creating layout etc
Update the homepage banner for our website every month (simple Canva design)
Upload 1-2 stories to our News or Survivor Story onto our website once per month
Help with the creation of event graphics (ex. invitation, social media posts) - Maximum once per month
Translation from English to Cantonese (optional)

Background

We wish to support our fundraising efforts with best-practice donor communications, individualised donor journeys, delivery of fundraising campaigns and activities.

What we have

International Branding and Comms guidelines will be provided.The person can also work closely with similar roles in other Hagar offices globally to ensure consistency in donor experience, brand and tone.

Why this is important

Solid and strategic marketing and communications will support growth of donor engagement and ultimately increasing of Hagar’s fundraising and retention of donors/supporters over time.

What we do

Founded in 1994, Hagar is an international NGO dedicated to ending the cycle of trafficking, slavery, and abuse, with programme delivery in Afghanistan, Cambodia, Vietnam, Singapore, Myanmar and the Solomon Islands. Hagar does this by providing survivors with safe and secure accommodation, counselling, legal support, education and help to find suitable employment, as well as working to prevent trafficking, slavery and abuse by educating communities and raising awareness, and advancing legal and legislative practices alongside governments and judicial systems.
