What we need

• The Social Media Data Analyst will help the set up and manage all social media channels, team members, campaigns to engage the general public, participants, guest and volunteers.
• Assist with the planning of marketing strategies to help drive traffic and engagement to the website
• Produce content for social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, WeChat, LinkedIn Weibo, etc.

Background

The ideal candidate will be from a marketing agency and have hands-on working knowledge of dealing with marketing data. We are looking for a Social Media Data Analyst who will be working closely with our Social Media Community manager to manage and strategically position our marketing channels and content. They will help to monitor the traffic on social media channels, assist with strategies to drive traffic and engagement to the website.

What we have

You will be working closely with other volunteers who also have FTE engagements. An onboarding program will be provided to ensure you understand Gay Games Hong Kong with the support of an international team.

Why this is important

Gay Games is a fully volunteer run organisation and a sporting and cultural festival which promotes diversity, inclusion and tolerance. The Gay Games 2023 will be held in Hong Kong and we are recruiting now for key members of our team! GGHK expects 12,000 participants and 75,000 supporters to join in 36 different sports competitions, a 40,000 visitor opening ceremony, a week-long festival village, and an exciting Arts and Culture program in November 2023.
