What we need

• Support all digital and IT systems, the participant registration system (Fusesport), any spectator ticketing platforms, marketing website, and any additional internal technology platforms
• Work closely with the Sport, Arts & Culture, Ceremonies, Festival Village and Events team to review and to configure the systems based on their requirements
• Implement role-based access for other team members, handling change requests, and reviewing changes between sandbox, staging, and production environments.
• If needed, work with the Director of Technology for any technical changes/support
• GGHK Technical Stack: Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Computing, Kubernetes for web applications and deployments, Hashicorp Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, Gitlab for source control management and technical project management, Monday.com for Project Management, Gitlab CICD Pipelines, Zoho for CRM and Customer Support channels, Wordpress and other content management platforms

Background

Gay Games 11 Hong Kong 2023’s (GGHK) is a volunteer-run organisation, uniquely combining sports, arts, culture, fun and community to bring together diverse groups of people to experience moments of joy. It will create unity and positive attitudes that will last a lifetime in Hong Kong, Asia and beyond under our tagline “Unity In Diversity”. GGHK will take place on 3-11 November 2023, first time in Asia. We are expecting 12,000 participants, 75,000 spectators and 3,000 volunteers from 100 countries. There are 36 sporting events planned including new events Dragon Boat Racing, Dodgeball, eSports, and Trail Running, Opening & Closing Ceremonies, Festival Village, and Arts & Culture events with daily performances, a Gala Concert, LGBTQ+ art exhibitions, and a variety of events to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Gay Games. Everyone is welcome to participate regardless of ethnicity, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, ability, or background.

Onboarding programme which supports you to understand more about GGHK to help you be effective on your role. You'll also work along side with a small team of volunteers in the Technology team!

Why this is important

The Information Technology Analyst plays a crucial supportive role within the Technology team, supporting all digital content platforms and any internal digital infrastructure such as Google Workspaces, Zoho CRM, etc., ensure all technology systems remain in constant uptime as well as able to support our various teams perform their duties as we prepare for the Gay Games in 2023.
