Lead the Technology team to support all digital content platforms eg. Google Workspaces, Zoho CRM, etc.
Project Details
What we need
- Support all digital content platforms and any internal digital infrastructure such as Google Workspaces, Zoho CRM, etc.
- Own all internal IT systems and users, along with maintaining any cloud/web-application infrastructure, as well as work closely with external service providers to evaluate systems needed to integrate with established and developing infrastructure.
- Work alongside the Director of Technology to manage all digital and IT systems, the participant registration system (Fusesport), any spectator ticketing platforms, marketing website, and any additional internal technology platforms.
- Work closely with the Sport, Arts & Culture, Ceremonies, Festival Village and Events team to review and to configure the systems based on their requirements.
- Partner closely with the Director to manage all necessary deliveries required to continue to support and grow our digital platforms.
Background
Gay Games 11 Hong Kong 2023’s (GGHK) is a volunteer-run organisation, uniquely combining sports, arts, culture, fun and community to bring together diverse groups of people to experience moments of joy. It will create unity and positive attitudes that will last a lifetime in Hong Kong, Asia and beyond under our tagline “Unity In Diversity”. GGHK will take place on 3-11 November 2023, first time in Asia. We are expecting 12,000 participants, 75,000 spectators and 3,000 volunteers from 100 countries. There are 36 sporting events planned including new events Dragon Boat Racing, Dodgeball, eSports, and Trail Running, Opening & Closing Ceremonies, Festival Village, and Arts & Culture events with daily performances, a Gala Concert, LGBTQ+ art exhibitions, and a variety of events to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Gay Games. Everyone is welcome to participate regardless of ethnicity, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, ability, or background.

Onboarding programme which supports you to understand more about GGHK to help you be effective on your role. You'll also work along side with a small team of volunteers in the Technology team!

This role will be vital to partner with different disciplines and understand their name which help to build an engaging volunteer community.
