Mentor and support diverse grassroots entrepreneurs in FSI's 2024-5 Mentorship Program as they grow their businesses
FSI's Mentorship Program for Ethnically Diverse Entrepreneurs is an annual 6-month program to support budding and aspiring entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds in Hong Kong. We are looking for seasoned entrepreneurs who have more than three years of experience running their own businesses with knowledge and skills to share with those who are just kickstarting their entrepreneurial journey. This is a unique opportunity for you to join a community of like-minded entrepreneurs as mentees and peer mentors, at the same time building your leadership and mentoring skills. For more information about the program, schedule, and our past impact stories, please read: https://www.shared-impact.com/community-business-support/mentorship-programme-for-ed-entrepreneurs/
The FSI team will make sure that the mentors get assigned a mentee who has needs for resources and skills that the mentor can provide and actively facilitate the interaction between the mentee and mentor throughout the 6-month journey. We also hold an orientation session for the entire cohort's mentors (10-12 individuals in total) and coaches who will be supporting the mentees on 7 Sep 2024 (Saturday), 10am-12pm. Should you apply to be our mentor, the FSI team will reach out to schedule an interview with you. The program mentors receive a certificate of completion as well as a stipend to acknowledge their support (HK$ 5,000) upon completing the journey.
By becoming one of our mentors in the program, you are joining the broader supportive ecosystem for grassroots entrepreneurs that are enriching Hong Kong's local economy.

Foundation for Shared Impact (FSI) is a registered charity in Hong Kong built on the philosophy of "shared impact", which believes that when different groups come together and collaborate by sharing knowledge, resources and time, we can achieve a greater social impact than by working separately. FSI runs programs that build communities and connect people. Through its Community Connections Program, FSI equips the private sector professionals to effectively participate in skills-based volunteering and other forms of social contribution through engagements with for-impact organisations. Its Community Business Support Program supports under-resourced entrepreneurs (including the ethnically diverse entrepreneurs) and social enterprises by providing business resources and consultation services, and the Impact Lab course empowers youths to experience social entrepreneurship and provides manpower to for-impact organisations. FSI also aims to enhance the overall efficiency and transparency of Hong Kong's social sector by using data through its Shared Data initiative.
