What we need

• Help with crowd control and operations logistics
• Assist and encourage runners to complete the course, manage supplies booth for runners (eg. provide water)
• Cheer and support runners
• Be on site for our event on 15 Oct from 7am - 12pm

Background

The charity flagship running event “HUNGER RUN” organized by social enterprise FOODSPORT, is returning after a two-year pandemic hiatus, bringing back the joy and excitement of a PHYSCIAL running event to the Hong Kong community. A new “Cha Kee” theme (Hong Kong Traditional Style Cafe) will be added to the event, creating a meaningful, fun and foodie filled running event for all walks of live, encouraging runners to run more, eat more and to donate more to support our charity partner “J Life Foundation” Food Assistance Program, serving those families in need living in Sham Shui Po.

What we have

Volunteer leaders will brief onsite on the event day. Easy work but required high engagement level and focus.

Why this is important

HUNGER RUN is FOODSPORT flagship event. It returns after a two-year pandemic hiatus. A massive sport events can definitely help gather public calorie so that we have much more food to donate to charity partner “J Life Foundation” Food Assistance Program, serving those families in need living in Sham Shui Po.
