Background

EmpowerU is a community-based educational platform which serves ethnic minority and migrant domestic worker communities in Hong Kong. We use a hybrid education model that blends high-quality online content with engaging and student-centered in-person classes.

What we have

We will be walking our volunteer through the details of our education programs and let them know on what are some of the key points and messages we want to get across. The volunteer will also be working directly with the program manager and program director to create the press releases. Documents giving more details about the programs will also be provided.

Why this is important

We have been working for years on our education programs, largely without any major press coverage. We would like to get the word out about our programs to inform the community so that we can expand our outreach and maximise our impact.
