Background

"A picture speaks a thousand words." It sounds clichéd, but it's genuinely true, and not every family is fortunate enough to taste its meaning. A memorable family photo, for some underprivileged families, may not have the fortune to own one.Henceforth, we have 49 pairs of grassroots families found in primary school, and they are all willing to participate in this school-based project approached by The Child Development Fund.By running the project, we are eager to provide them an opportunity to own a family photo, assist children in building their self-confidence, and capture and freeze all the good times and memories by shooting pictures.

What we have

(1) Briefing session via Zoom prior to the shooting day (2) Traffic allowance provided (subject to approval)

Why this is important

The Child Development Fund School-based Projects is one of our regular services which facilitates grassroots children to grow by developing a positive learning and working attitude for youth in the long run, as well as significantly improving their social skills, problem-solving abilities, resource management and career planning. The project ultimately aim to promote upward mobility of grassroots households. Looking for more details? Please visit the website below: https://www.cdf.gov.hk/tc/index.html
