Project Details

What we need
  • The sessions will be hosted on 4 and 18 June (time TBC), volunteers are required to arrive 15-30min before the workshop begins
  • Help with preparation work of the event (i.e. washing and distribution of materials)
  • Facilitate the session and assist parents and kids in making eco-vegetable-bouquets
  • Interact with 20 pairs of parents and kids during the class, encouraging kids to be more hands-on while parents are there to support
Background

Floral bouquets always look beautiful. However, floral bouquets are also accused of a waste of resources. After the Valentine's Day, we can see that a lots of floral bouquets was treated as rubbish and thrown to rubbish bins.Eco-vegetable bouquets are made by different types of vegetables and fruits. Parents and kids will make it together and enjoy the parent-child time. When they are making it, florists and volunteers will deliver the eco-friendly concept in order to increasing their awareness of eco-friendly.Eco-vegetable bouquets as a handmade gift, they will give it to their loved one (mom or wife) and enjoy the meal together!Three sessions of eco-vegetable-bouquets will be held on 8/5, 4/6, 18/6.

What we have

(1) Briefing session will be arranged via Zoom about 30 minutes (2) Florists will give guidelines and explain the arrangements to volunteers
