Background

“轉數塊”and “衝突有偈傾”are DADs Network self-designed and published board games. DADs Network also provides regular board game workshops to families. We believe that playing board games is not only entertaining, but also can share your thoughts and feelings with family and friends and bring people closer. Playing board games plays a crucial role in fostering mental growth in children. For instance, board games are the tool for cultivating creativity in children, giving family an opportunity to strengthen their communication and connection, and delivering some tips about parenting and child-rearing.We are looking for volunteers who are passionate about playing board games and willing to provide board game tutorials to families. We will hold board game workshops and sessions regularly so we are looking forward to having you to be a part of it.

What we have

Board games training provided about 1.5 hours. Learn more about the boardgames: (1) 轉數塊:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWNOATfXEfM&t=4s (2) 衝突有偈傾:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0VfbbcOamoQ

Why this is important

The use of board games in education is under-utilized. The tedious learning mechanism reveals the greatest drawback of the education system in Hong Kong. Using board games in class can generate more joy and create a better learning environment for children.Using it as an educational tool not only benefits children but also their parents. For children, board games can engage them with various learning styles and develop their creative skills. For parents, board games are the potential tools to strengthen the parent-child bonds and encourage them to communicate with their children proactively.
