Project Details

What we need
  • Guide fathers or underprivileged males to make coffee
  • Teach fathers or underprivileged males to make basic latte art
  • Introduce different types of coffee beans
  • Interact and share barista skills experience with fathers or underprivileged males
  • Passionate about community service
Background

Does covid-19 affect our relationship? Social distancing narrows people’s interaction and deteriorates our mental wellbeing that our society should by no means neglect its seriousness. Therefore, we are eager to build a network with fathers and some of the underprivileged males and to provide a circle with mutual supports by making coffee. Some fathers believe that work and family are equally important. They are always fully occupied with their families and works and consequently hardly have a chance to explore their interests and expand their social circles. In our barista workshop, we aim to establish a social spot for them to interact with other fathers and males.

What we have

All Barista Supplies and tools will be provided.

Why this is important

Dads Network was established by a group of like-minded individuals who seek to promote an active fathering culture, making Hong Kong a better place for children to grow and live. We strive to build communities of healthier fathers and healthier families in efforts to create a vibrant and thriving society.
