What we need

• Deliver an hour piano session each week (format shall be discussed, and not be limited to Zoom, face-to-face or rental venue)
• Communicate with caseworker from CSF to arrange tutorial schedule with other piano tutor volunteers
• Review monthly on the student's learning progress and class performace
• The team will be coordinating closely between the volunteer and the family, The day of the week the session will be conducted can be discussed
• Experience in communicating with SEN children will be preferred

Background

Our mission is to prevent family breakdown and tragic headline news. We save families from social, medical and financial crises, and empower them to lead a self-sustaining and hopeful livelihood.

What we have

We will provide arrangement on meeting with the family first and enable our volunteers to engage and understand more about the family background. If both parties are interested to collaborate, social worker will further liaise with volunteers and the family.

Why this is important

If we succeed in recruiting 4 volunteers, this will fulfil the dream of a single caretaker who has no extra resources to provide learning opportunity to her grandson to learn piano, which is the instrument that can calm his emotions. This act would mean a lot to this family, as well as to the society as this spreads the message of little help offering people much love and strength. It is also our mission and goal.
