What we need
- Review NGO's financial statements and due diligence practices to ensure it's up to the philanthropy industry's standards
- Research for relevant financial research papers within the NGO field
- Consolidate a PPT and report to help stakeholders understand the business practices
What we have
We have done some previous research for reference and our accounting team can provide guidances when necessary. A briefing call will be arranged before the volunteer gets started.
Why this is important
This project is to help evaluating the sustainability of our NGO, and to ensure that our documentations and operational processes are up to standard.

What we do
Standing for 'Care in Education and Recruitment', CareER is a non-profit organisation established in 2014 in Hong Kong by a University graduate with disability with a mission to advance employment for people with disability in tertiary education. CareER is the first charity in Hong Kong to provide targeted career and peer support to tertiary-educated individuals with any type of disabilities and special educational needs (SEN), including physical impairment (visual, hearing, mobility), developmental and learning disability (Autism, ADHD, specific learning difficulties), mental illness, chronic illness and more. In addition to providing free job-matching services for corporations and beneficiaries in the past decade, CareER created a local talent market for PWD with our CareER member and employer systems to tackle workplace disability inclusion systematically, creating an environment where everyone may realise and showcase their true potential to become independent, contributing members of society.
