Help us with redesigning and updating to our Wix website
Project Details
What we need
- Join a 30 min meeting to learn about our existing website and discuss how to redesign our website
- Help us add new pages to our website, mainly to promote our second edition of AWAKE Indian Dance Festival
- Redesigning and updating content the existing website if necessary
- Knowledge sharing about Wix usage to strengthen the team's capacity
- Cantonese-speaking volunteers with experience using Wix is preferred
- Our current website: beyondbollywood.org
Background
We are organizing the coming AWAKE Indian Dance Festival which will be launched between October and December 2023 and then present the new dance drama production in Jan 2024. Website enhancement can increase traffic and strengthen the effectiveness of publicity in the long term.
What we have
We have an existing Wix website and need your help in redesigning and adding new pages to it. Website edit access and content (text and images) will be provided.
Why this is important
This webpage will be an essential tool for spreading the word about our organization and missions. We are going to launch the second edition of AWAKE Indian Dance Festival which website enhancement can facilitate the promotion directly.

What we do
At BEYOND Bollywood we stand for advancing the concepts of cultural diversity, equality, respect and community inclusion. Through the power of Bollywood dance with its music, theatre and films, we join hands with different dance practitioners to connect and develop sustainable partnerships with numerous community organizations, Universities, schools and corporates to organize impact projects with the aim of raising public awareness on finding value in people who are undermined and provide opportunity for those who are often overlooked in Hong Kong. We believe that change begins within, through different community engagement initiatives, we do hope to build a bridge for dance practitioners who use their own skills, talents and influence to make an impact in whatever causes they stand for.
