What we need
- Join 30min Zoom meeting to understand the programs in the Festival
- Creating 3-4 social media contents per week
- Each post is required to present bilingually with simple visuals
- Video editing is preferable but not mandatory
Background
AWAKE Indian Dance 2021 returns with consecutive 6-day events with more diversified and dynamic content in the format of hybridity. It will take place on October 19-24, 2021 in the spacious performing arts facilities of Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre BLACK BOX THEATRE to unit the dance community for a week of different themed dance performances, networking, book launch, community tour, online and offline dance workshops, Indian Folk Arts Workshop, dance science and medicine workshop, film screenings, open rehearsals, exhibition with the aim to build a stronger presence for Indian dance in this city and also become a bridge between local and global Indian dance artists to strive for international visibility.
What we have
(1) You can choose to work remotely or use Tai Po Arts Centre as a meeting / working space, (2) Introduction of our organisation, artists and Indian dance community in HK, (3) Dancing experience and sharing dance stories by our artists and (4) Holistic and concrete experience gained from curation to implementation of the dance initiatives in mutually support relationship
Why this is important
(1) Strengthening our brand recognition and increase our positioning in dance ecology in order to move our organisation to the next level (2) Building a long term relationship with more like-minded collaborators and even improve our teamwork productivity and effectiveness (3) Audience building locally and internationally (4) Create the next normal through constructing a solid and feasible online platform during global reorganization. (5) This is our the 1st Festival organised by our organization which can definitely create another milestones.
