What we do

Be Priceless, founded in 2015, is an educational non-profit organization based in Hong Kong that aims to strengthen personal and collective growth, well-being, and safety of children, families, and community, especially those who face higher risks and barriers. We provide two types of services: 1) SEED education, and 2) community partnerships to nurture regenerative, supportive, and inclusive flourishing. SEED Courses stand for Self-value, Empower, Educate and protect from Dangers. They are life skills training that have been rigorously developed by more than 200 multi-sectoral professionals and diverse community members on shared solutions to cultivate flourishing. The SEED Course have been shown through rigourous evaluation to improved the quality of life and health behavior of children and their caregivers. For children, our program enhances their health, emotional regulation, well-being and safety. We develop our services through child-centered, participatory, stakeholder-informed processes to address their views, needs, and ideas for flourishing. Our community partnership program includes interviews of diverse community members including children and caregivers from refugee, asylum seeker, ethnic minority, low-income, special educational needs, migrant domestic workers backgrounds. We also interview many NGO workers, social workers, and health workers to understand the opportunities for transformative support of their important work. We co-design our educational solutions of the SEED courses by integrating their insights and support by applying design thinking, systems thinking, and behavioral interventions. In the next few years, we are looking to provide our services (all provided free of charge and predominantly self-funded by our directors) to more than 1000 community members each year. We also hope to broaden the partnerships with more NGOs, schools and community groups that nurture the healing and flourishing of at risk community. We also hope to cultivate more resources to deepen our impact in the community. We hope that you will support us in transforming our community to flourish regeneratively!
