What we need

• Capture the ambiance and atmosphere of the gala, including the guests' reactons and emotions
• Capture the excitement and energy of the live auction or other fundraising activities
• Capture the live entertainment performances, including singers, our children or musicians
• Capture take group photos of guests at backdrop areas
• Capture shots of guests enjoying, mingling and interacting during the event
• Please bring your own shooting equipment (eg. camera, tripod)
• Event starts on 11 Nov (Sat) 6:30pm until around 11:00pm, please arrive early for preparation

Background

Our charity gala dinner will be held on 11 Nov 2023 at Harbour Grand Hong Kong. This is our major fundraising event every year. APF is a small local registered NGO without any subvention from government, even long term funding from corporate/ foundation etc. The operation and service costs of APF are fully reliant on self-raised funds by ourselves.We target to have 200 guests at that night. The theme of that night is “Starry Blue Moon Night” , The blue moon is very rare, it symbolizes uniqueness and rarity, just like children with autism who have unique and beautiful characteristics. Their way of thinking and behavior patterns may differ from many people, they have a unique position in society, so they need special education and support.

Why this is important

The funds raised from the event will be allocated in supporting our treatments to children and teenagers with autism and their families in Hong Kong. We raise funds to generate public awareness and knowledge about autism and to provide one month one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism from low-income families. We need to ask for support and donation from donors that night, to cover the cost of providing free services.
