This is part of the Culture series.
Redeem a ticket to a 1.5-hour tour for 8 people at the Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden (KFBG) with a private tour of the pigsties, wildlife sanctuary, and orchid greenhouse to learn about endangered plants, stories of rescued wild animals, and how the Kadoorie Brothers started Hong Kong’s earliest micro-financing scheme.
KFBG is a conservation and education centre, spreading over 148 hectares of land on the northern slopes of Tai Mo Shan. KFBG was established in 1956 to provide aid to farmers and help them lead independent lives. Since 1995 our mission has expanded into nature conservation, protecting endangered species and habitats, promoting sustainable lifestyles, and education activities to help harmonise our relationship with the environment.
